Smoked Honey Butter

I love butter on my pancakes - I actually think it might be my favourite way to eat them. This smoked honey butter is super simple but so good. Any leftover butter can be slathered on some fresh bread. I’d advise using set honey here as runny honey separates from the butter quite quickly.


Ingredients:
125g unsalted butter - at room temperature 
2 tbsp set honey 
1.5 tsp flaked smoked sea salt

Method:

  1. Cream together the butter and honey in a bowl until combined. It’s essential your butter is room temperature here.

  2. Add the salt and thoroughly mix through the butter.

  3. Can be stored in a jar and used when needed.
